My Favorite White And Gray Interior Paint Colors
Painting the interior of your home can be intimidating. Paint can be wonderful because it is an inexpensive way to change the look of your home, however the wrong paint color and sheen can be disastrous. Ever had that feeling when you walk into a room and you just know it’s the wrong paint color? I have, and it is a sinking feeling, but don’t fret! It’s just paint, and I am here to guide you on paint colors that you can’t go wrong with plus tips on which sheen to use (trust me, I have boys, which equals dirt).
First, if you are feeling completely lost about what paint colors to use, then you absolutely cannot go wrong with Sherwin Williams Pure White throughout your entire home. I have painted several houses this color, and it just never disappoints me. It is fresh, crisp, and has the potential to transform your space.
This is Sherwin Williams Pure White. Both the cabinets and walls are painted this color, so it should give you a great idea of what it can do for a space. It instantly gives a clean, fresh feeling without a hint of yellow in sight.
Here is another look at Pure White in different lighting. See? You just can’t go wrong with it no matter what your lighting situation is.
Next, let’s talk about warm, gray colors. Some of the best gray, yet warm colors are:
Repose Gray by Sherwin Williams
Skyline Steel by Sherwin Williams
Rockport Gray by Benjamin Moore

And finally, my advice for paint sheen? If you have any beings under the age of 18, then never, ever use flat paint. EVER. It is the hardest to clean and shows so much dirt. Keep scrolling though for a quick guide to paint sheen.
Here is a list of my all time favorite gray and white paint colors:

Remember that you can never go wrong with a white or gray color! On the next blog post, we will be discussing dark and moody paint colors because I’m on a mission for every household to have at least one moody space in their home. :-)
