Three TV Shows I’m Hooked on Right Now
Lately, I’ve been diving into some seriously compelling TV, and I have to share my current obsessions. These shows couldn’t be more different—one is a sharp satire, another a mind-bending thriller, and the third a true story that’s as fascinating as it is unsettling. If you’re looking for something new to binge, here’s what’s been keeping me glued to the screen.
1. Apple Cider Vinegar (Netflix)
I went into Apple Cider Vinegar not knowing much, but wow—this show is wild. It’s based on the real-life story of Belle Gibson, an Australian influencer who built an empire by falsely claiming she cured her terminal cancer with natural remedies. Watching Kaitlyn Dever play this manipulative, mesmerizing character is both infuriating and impossible to look away from.
What gets me the most is how easily people were taken in by her—it’s a real commentary on the wellness industry and how desperate people can be for hope. It’s disturbing, but also fascinating, and it makes you think twice before believing everything you see on social media.
2. Severance (Apple TV+)
I love a good psychological thriller, and Severance is next-level creepy in the best way. The premise is simple but terrifying: what if you could completely separate your work self from your personal life? Sounds great… until you realize that your “work self” is essentially trapped in an endless loop of the office, with no escape.
The eerie atmosphere, the mystery unfolding bit by bit, and the way it makes you question corporate culture—this show is genius. Plus, Adam Scott is incredible as the lead, playing a man who starts questioning everything about the system he signed up for. If you like shows that mess with your mind, this one is a must-watch.
3. The White Lotus (HBO Max)
I’ve been a fan of The White Lotus since season one, and I’m so happy the new season is finally here. This show is the perfect mix of luxury escapism, sharp satire, and slow-burn chaos. Every season is set at a different White Lotus resort, with new (and usually awful) rich people getting themselves into trouble.
What I love most is how it makes you both admire and cringe at the characters. They’re flawed, privileged, and sometimes downright ridiculous, but you can’t look away. The new season, set in Thailand, is already giving me major FOMO with its stunning scenery, and I can’t wait to see what kind of drama unfolds.
So, that’s what’s been filling my screen time lately! If you’ve watched any of these, I’d love to hear your thoughts. And if you have recommendations for my next binge, drop them in the comments—I’m always looking for my next obsession!
Love,
Lindsay
